# Quickstart

Connect your application and send a first email.

## Prepare your account

[Create account](https://usesendy.com/signup)

1. ### Add a sending domain

Open [Domains](https://usesendy.com/domains) and add a domain you control. Sending-account setup runs in the background.

2. ### Publish the DNS records

Copy the records from your domain page to your DNS provider. Keep them published and wait for **Verified**. Progress updates automatically.

3. ### Create an API key

Create a key in [API keys](https://usesendy.com/keys). Copy the full value when it appears; it is shown only once. Keep it on your application server.

If a domain needs approval or belongs to another account, contact support.
